Insulation firm’s turnover goes through the roof
A leading Teesside-based roof insulation company has seen turnover double in the past 12-months and is on the way to doubling this again.
TaperedPlus, the only premium independent tapered insulation provider in the UK, partly attributes this increase to the launch of its revolutionary mobile app.
The Company, which moved into Fusion Hive in Stockton and opened a Southern office in Wolverhampton due to an expanding workforce, is aiming to modernise the building industry, using the app as a catalyst for change.
With the first version of the app generating enquiries from as far afield as the USA, Canada and the Middle East, the technology TaperedPlus is embracing is sure to help it maintain its standing as a market leader.
An updated version of the app, available on iOS and Android from August 31st, will feature a photo function, allowing users to upload roof sketches, as well as an existing project database for users to track previous quotes and projects.
Newly appointed Sales & Marketing Manager, Libby Clemot-Escobar, said:
“The building industry is still very old-fashioned with many enquiries coming through on bits of paper”
“The app increases efficiency by streamlining all information needed, while still being easy to use. Through this, we are able to provide accurate quotations and specifications as early as possible within the design process.”
Directors, Aman Chahal and Robert Vass are looking forward to progressing the Company over the next 12-months. Aman said:
“We are innovation leaders in our field due to incorporating modern technology into everything we do to improve efficiency and reduce cost.
“Following significant investment in the business, including research and development, as well as creating the app, I am proud to see this deliver results in doubling our turnover which we expect to repeat in the next year.”
The Company, now in its third year, has been part of a number of award-winning projects, including the Feethams complex in Darlington which recently won the Commercial Award at the RICS Awards North East, as well as the Victoria Gate Project in Leeds which won project of the year at the LABC awards.
Speaking of the award success, Aman said:
“We specified, worked on and supplied this prestigious project and were delighted to hear of its success. The development is a credit to all involved.”
Following the appointment of an additional Technical Design Manager, James Dennell, in its Southern office, as well as Assistant Account Manager, Bianca Kemp, to help support administration in its Northern Office, the firm is looking forward to working on even more large scale, design-driven projects.
